Bird's Nest Cottage — A Cosy Cornish Hideaway Steps from the Beach, East Looe

Positive: Close to beach. Negative: Smallish towels. Would be good to have salt and pepper. One very creaky stair tread.

Relaxing and peaceful Positive: All good Negative: Nothing to dislike

Positive: Good central location. Spacious kitchen well equipped with utensils and appliances. Comfortable bed and reasonable size bedroom. Good shower Negative: The stairs to each floor were very steep and narrow and the handrail was impossible to grip making it very precarious to get up and down. The middle floor consisting of the lounge and toilet/shower room was cramped and it was very difficult to manoeuvre yourself in the toilet. The towels were very small and there was only one toilet roll provided. In the kitchen there were many containers marked tea, coffee, sugar etc but nothing in any of them. We have stayed in many self catering cottages over the years and pretty much all of them have provided these basic essentials and some go the extra mile. Disappointed overall.
